If
you have repented of your sins, placed your trust in Jesus
Christ as your Savior, then you are a child of God! Welcome
to the family of God!
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave
the right to become children of God, to those who believe
in His name" (John 1:12)
Jesus promises to "never leave nor forsake you"
(Hebrews 13:5) and to give you the Holy Spirit to guide
you and give you counsel. You
can learn more about God and grow in your relationship with
Him by reading and obeying the Bible. We
would recommend for you to read the Bible everyday -- go
through a book like John or Mark (found in the New Testament)
a chapter a day. Ask God to reveal to you truths about Him
and for understanding on questions you may have.
Prayer should be a very important part of the Christian
life. Keep talking with God
throughout the day, and when you face concerns, ask Him
for answers or direction. Praise Him for
who He is and thank Him for what he has done and is doing
in your life. When you do sin and fail to obey, turn to
God and ask for forgiviness. Like a loving father, God forgives
us because of Jesus. Remember, He will never quit loving
you!
You should make it a priority to get involved in a church
that preaches and teaches the Word of God, first and foremost,
and helps you to grow in your relationship with Him. If

Be sure to tell someone about

It's important to share with family and friends what you
have done, even if they do not believe in Jesus Christ and
the Bible or believe in a different "god". God
wants us to share with everyone who needs to hear His Story
about the greatest gift -- his Son Jesus Christ.
